Sunday school Schedule for Fall 2007 -2008

11:00 AM

1st Quarter: Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28 (7 Weeks)

2nd Quarter: Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25 Dec. 2, 9, 16 (7 Weeks)

No classes on Dec. 23 & Dec. 30

3rd Quarter: Jan 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb. 3, 10, 17, 24 (7 weeks)

4th Quarter: Mar 2, 9, 16, Apr. 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4 (8 weeks)

No classes on March 23 & March 30

 

Children In Worship

children ages 3 through kindergarten participate in the children in worship ministry which meets in room 11 , where they will learn about god and experience him through age appropriate worship.

the children in worship experience begins for your child during the Sunday education hour 10:00 - 10:50 am, and continues during the second half of the 11:00 am worship. They meet in room 7.

Must be the age of 3 prior to October 31, 2007.

 

Youth Education


All elementary ages begin with a new teacher friendly curriculum called "Walk with Me" that addresses the varied learning style of students. This new style that we experimented with last year is more interesting for teachers and students to experience. These classes all meet on the lower level of the church.

  •   1st & 2nd grade  -- Room 10

  •   3rd & 4th grade -- Room 12

  •   5th & 6th grade -- Room 11

  •   7th & 8th grade -- Room 1     

  •   9th & 10th grade -- Room 4     

  •   11th & 12th grade -- Room 3  

 

Adult Education

  •   20-30's are invited to attend a class with Jerry Van Wieren and Scott Van Single for an exciting look at the book of Daniel. This class meets in the Lounge lower level.
     

  •   30's - 40's are invited to join Joel Schuitema and Pat Gardner as they lead in a study of "The Power of a Praying Parent" This class meets in Room 6 on the lower level.
     

  •   Breaking Free Sunday Education Class for Women Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life, leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, this in-depth study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today's believers. Beth Moore uses Scripture to point out the benefits of out relationship with God and shows you how to remove obstacles that hinder that relationship. As you identify spiritual strongholds in you life, you will progress on the journey towards greater freedom in Christ. The workbooks will be available, but the class will be based on the video series "Breaking Free." There will not be any homework. This class will be held in the "West House" (formerly the Moore property).
     

  • All Adult Elective: "If You Want to Walk on Water You Have to Get Out of the Boat" DVD with discussion meets in room 2 on the lower level with Ron Jenkins
