GRANT REFORMED CHURCH WELCOMES PASTOR MIK SUTTON                       

Pastor Mik Sutton and his wife Polly begin their new journey on October 4 at the Grant Reformed Church.  Pastor Mik has been the Pastor of Intercession and Care at Mason County Reformed Church in Scottville, Michigan.

He was called from 32 years in education into ministry and in to a whole new world of prayer, care, service to church, people, community, and denomination.  With two masters degrees in special education and educational leadership, Pastor Mik felt the call to a new direction. He wanted to do more, be able to say more, be able to touch the hearts of people in a more meaningful way.

In June, 2006, Pastor Mik retired from education and began his studies for the ministry through the RCA Commissioned Pastor Program.  He completed his studies, five Classis Oral Exams, and two projects, and was commissioned on December 13, 2008.
